How to Renew CSPO Certification?
Certified Scrum Professional Certification renewal is a 3 step process.
- You need to accumulate 40 SEUs in the year before you apply.
- Verify your profile information in the Scrum Alliance portal and attach the SEUs.
- Pay a $250 certification renewal fee by submitting the completed application. Don’t forget to accept the Scrum Alliance license. CSPO certification will be renewed with the following steps if they are applicable.
Let us discuss the above three-step process more in detail.
Enter SEUs R
Entering the SEUs before starting the application process is better to get a smooth renewal. A minimum of 40 SEUs is required to submit to renew your CSPO certification. You can select 40 SEUs from any category as there is no category limit. As per the current renewal period, only 40 SEUs are counted. More than 40 SEUs cannot be carried over.
- Start the procedure by clicking on the Manage SEUs link on your profile dashboard.
- Select Enter an Education unit and choose the required category.
- Click the create a new button and enter the information required.
- After completing the required information, click the Create button at the bottom of the form.
- The completed SEU will be shown if everything goes well. If any blanks were left out, an error message will be shown.
- If you get an error message then update the information as required and click the Update button at the bottom of the form.
- You can see links to go to your Education units at the end of the created SEU. Here you can add additional SEUs.
- Choose your application to attach your SEU to the CSP renewal application.
Complete the Application-
- You will see an Apply for CSPO renewal link on your dashboard under the actions option if you are within 180 days of renewing your CSP application.
- This takes you to the CSPO renew prerequisites page. If any information is to be updated, then update your profile information and click on proceed to your profile to make the above changes at the bottom of the form.
- After completing the changes on your profile, the page will return to the prerequisite page.
- When all the prerequisites status display green checkmarks, you will see a new link Agree and Submit.
- By selecting agree and submit, it will take to certification application for CSPO renew.
- The selected SEUs should be attached by clicking on the link Add/Adjust SEUs attached to the application.
- Select the update button and your application will be updated by SEUs.
Submit Application and Make Payment-
- After adding 40 SEUs, your application will show complete CSPO- Renew Application button
- Click on the button to make payment for renewal. After that return to your profile dashboard.
- Don’t forget to accept the Scrum Alliance license.
- With this you have completed the CSPO renewal. All the certifications will be shown on your dashboard.
